It feels like I just got my first Stitch Fix box. My 2nd one arrived a few days ahead of schedule and turned out to be better than the first! I hope it's true that it continually gets better!
Again, let's remember that I'm horrible at these "selfies" and I need a better mirror! But, I love reading and seeing other people's boxes, so I think it's only fair that I post mine too.
I received both the polka dot top and black skinny jeans in this picture. I was SO excited to see the polka dot top in my box. Sadly, it was just too tight on me. I even tried it on a couple of times with different things, but I just wasn't comfortable with how it showed off my post-baby belly.
The black skinny jeans fit but I didn't feel like I would wear them much. If I'm going for black bottoms, I'd rather wear my black leggings right now.
Needless to say, both of these items were returned.
Next up is the gold bubble necklace. I'm kind of over the bubble necklace trend and this one also seemed very thin and not worth it at all. Returned!
I've been wanting something similar to this. I'm not sure I would pick this one out on my own, but I went ahead and kept it. But, I think that's the beauty of stitch fix! If I waited on myself to pick out an aztec sweater, it might be forever! It is kind of big in the front but I think that might make it all the more cozier on cold days. Also, I need a different shirt under it and probably a pair of darker skinny jeans with it. KEPT!
And finally, I received this top. I think it might make a nice work shirt but I don't really need anything like this. And I just don't really think it's my style at all.
So, even though I only kept 1 out of 5 this time - I still think this box was moving more towards my style! I still think it's an awesome service and I want to keep trying it a bit more. It's nice to be able to try things on in my own home and try them out with things that already in my closet!
