Halloween 2007

John Michael painted my belly into a pumpkin and he went as a rock star. We went to a haunted house, trick or treating at the mall (although we got there too late really) and to the hospital to say hi.

We really can't wait until we have Jenna so we really have an excuse to do this! :)

John Michael is on call tonight and I hate it! So, I thought I would dedicate a post to him about how wonderful he's been throughout this pregnancy. I feel extremely lucky and thankful to have him as my hubby and my baby daddy. :)

*He tells me how beautiful and cute pregnant I am - which I don't feel much of lately.
*He put together all of the furniture and baby stuff even though it was a huge pain, I think he enjoyed doing it (except maybe the changing table...that's another story.)
*He kisses my belly in the morning before he leaves.
*He helps me off the couch when I feel like I've sunken in and can't get up. :)
*He went with me to all of the appts he was able to go to.

I'm sure there are even tons more things that I'm not thinking or right now, but if you know him, you know how great he is. Everyone has said that Jenna is going to have him wrapped around her little finger and I know that too. I can't wait to see their relationship together. I know that he is going to be such a great daddy! :)

Also, after Jenna gets here, I have in mind what kind of blog banner I want but it's more of a digital photography type thing so hopefully JM can make it happen for me. :)

I thinking of getting a photo site because I'm sure there will be tons of pics in a couple of weeks. :)

Just a few fun photos of 2 and 3 years ago. I was looking for last years when we dressed up as M&M's and couldn't find those. :(

Sadly, this year, we really don't have any plans. I might do *something* but I don't want to give it away yet. :) I really can't wait for next year to dress Jenna up!

I love this!

I love seeing them together more and more! Honestly, now I feel like Sophie will have Max around when Jenna comes so at least they have each other if we're not able to give them all the attention that they are used to. I think Sophie now feels like she is the mother hen over Max. She likes to lick his face a couple of times a day and I think Max likes it too. They will forever be our first babies, even if they are dogs! :)

As for other happenings, John Michael is now on Peds and gets home around 4 every day. We've been able to see each other more and even went to the beach on Monday and hopefully will go back soon with the pups. I think we will fully savor and enjoy these last 4 weeks of just being us. (It's kind of bittersweet...)

A Year Ago Today

 

We were in South Carolina for Vanessa's wedding. I can't believe it's been a year! So much has happened in a year. And in another year, so many more things will be different. Life is crazy that way, I guess. :)

Baby Furniture!

We've spent the day putting the crib and changing table/dresser together. JM has been awesome at it! I love the crib and the bedding set so much! Of course, the room is no where done but I have pictures from today but of course stupid blogger is messing up. I will have to add those in later. :)

We have a date!

I had another ob appt today and we scheduled a c-section set for Nov. 15th. It's definitely a bit scarier knowing the actual date now, but the date seems to work out perfectully for JM and our families so hopefully we'll be able to keep that date.

JM's last day of internal med. is today (YIPPEE!!) and then he does 4 weeks of pediatrics. After pediatrics, he has to go back and do internal med all over again, but at least he gets a small break in between. (Internal med. is the roughest one with the longest hours and he can't take any days off during.) That is also another reason we are hoping to keep the Nov. 15th day. :)

Today makes 34 weeks!

Well, I posted a couple of weeks back how I thought that the third trimester was probably the easiest. Scratch that idea! I think I've just learned that each trimester has its own set of challenges with it.

I'm getting to be very uncomfortable - uncomfortable in about everything I do. Sitting on the couch has become a chore because it's nearly impossible to get comfortable or get up even! And not to mention sleeping - Usually laying on my side is the most comfortable, but then again, it's rolling over to get on my side that takes all the work. And lastly, I'm starting to feel like I've been pregnant forever. It's still really hard to imagine us having a baby! I can't believe I'm almost at the end. :)

I walked by the bathroom and I saw both of the pups just hanging out on the rug. I thought it was so cute - and especially because Sophie was in there with him too. :)

Since Friday night, I've had 4 people rub my belly. 2 at the party we went to and 2 at the mall. I don't get it.... If you're not JM, a close family member, or a good friend then don't touch me! What is wrong with these people???

I just noticed that JM put a couple of our pics from our San Antonio trip a couple of weekends back up on Picasa, so I thought I'd blog them. :)

The River and the boat is the tour that we did that was really neat. The picture of both of us is in the incredible Mexican restaurant we ate at - the waitress offered to take our picture, we didn't even have to ask her! And the other picture is the Alamo. JM also has a few of his nice shots on his blog, so check those out too.

Currently, not much else going on around here. JM is working a ton lately and I've put in my last day at Gap to be Nov. 1st. Life is good. :)

Cooking with Cindy this weekend!

Cindy and I made blueberry muffins - well, I should say she did most of it, while I watched. :)

She left yesterday and I'm sad that she's gone because I know it'll probably be another year before we get to hang out again. I had tons of fun with her and I hope she had fun too!

32 weeks with Cindy!

32 weeks today! I'm feeling pretty huge. :)

So, Cindy is here and we've had tons of fun. I'm so glad she came to visit! We did some shopping today and then she showed me how to roast a chicken. JM is on call tonight so it's just us. The doggies love her too! :)

ob appt today

I had another appt today. Jenna is weighing in at 4lbs and 2 oz. She is definitely growing! :)

Also, my previa is gone so a c-section is no longer a requirement, but still an option left up to us.

All is going well. :)
