Jenna and I went for a walk today and I looked down and saw this dreen dot of paint on my shoe. See it? It's funny how one little thing like this can trigger so many memories but it did. See, that green paint is from when I painted with my kindergarten kids last year. I don't remember if it was a structured painting activity or it was from them making a mess during centers, but whatever it was, it makes me miss last year. I miss sweet Heather and her hugs, Justice's happiness, and Lilli the princess. And of course I miss you - Whit. And it makes me wonder how I always got crap on me and Whitney managed to stay so clean and look so well put together throughout the whole day. And then I remember again, how grateful I am to be able to not have to teach and be able to stay at home with Jenna. And yep, I got all of this, from just looking at a dot of green paint.

Awww Allison!! It makes me miss you even more! I miss you being right down the hall and sending the notes with kids and running out into the hallway! It makes me miss Dalton. I thought of him for the first time yesterday...his name was on my Franklin Math game. Awww, good times!
