YAY Jenna! She managed to sleep through the night last night. (from around 9 to 8). She has still been on and off at this sleeping game, but I really think we're making progress. This whole sleep issue has been much harder than I thought. There comes a limit where I just got emotionally and physically drained from getting up every night and just didn't know how much longer I could keep on. I also realize there are a ton more factors that are influencing her sleep - how much she eats before she goes to bed, nap/awake times, and the "magic" time for us seems to be in between 9-9:30.
So, now I can only hope she keeps this up on more of a consistent basis. I'm a much better mommy when I've had a full nights sleep. :)

Are you nursing her? I think it can be up to 9 months before a nursing baby can be expected to go through the night. That's great that she slept that long, though! Go Jenna!!
You're doing everything right. No worries. Sometimes they sleep and sometimes not, and I know that going without sleep is the worst, and I remember feeling like a bad mom when I was sleep deprived. The one good thing is that it will end. Maybe not as soon as you hoped, but she'll get there. You're a great mom. Just hang in. Also, once she starts eating real food, it'll even out. Better times are coming.

Oh yes--I'm a better mummy too when i have had my quota of sleep.(And my kids are 10 and 6!)

Oh blessed sleep, how I doth love you so! I am still up once, early in the morning myself, so I sort of know where you are coming from. I hope she keeps it up!

That's wonderful Jenna :D,Mummy must be so happy and relaxed..I know that I sure am when McKenna sleeps through the night..keep up the good work.
She's so sweet, I love her little face! :) And I know what ya mean about the sleep.... I will do anything for it, lol!
