Ok, I have no idea why the picture is not rotated right. On the folder view, it looks right. But like this post, I'm too lazy to do anything about it.
So, I've been bad about cooking lately. I think spaghetti was the last thing I really put any effort into and that's been a couple of weeks back. Lately, it's been whatever is the easiest and tonight it was boxed lasagna. I need to get better at this - but honestly it's just not something I enjoy doing all that much.
So, what do you do when you're in a cooking slump? Or can I just hire you to come to my house and start cooking for us? :)

I have been to Super Suppers and Main Dish Kitchens a few times. I think that their meals are quite tasty, and if you go in to prep them yourself, you can even customize them to your family's tastes.
I hate the fact that I hate to cook. I have found that it is much more fun for me to go to the nice grocery store to shop for the fancy ingredients occasionally. (Plus, I like their meat selection MUCH better.)
Also check out Crockpot 365. She usually has super simple and VERY tasty recipes!
Good luck. Let me know if you find the magical solution!

i really like the easy dinners i have found on the kraft foods website. the bruschetta chicken back i made and posted on my blog was great and so easy.
also, think about keeping things on hand that are quick like stuff to make salads, sloopy joes, brats, even hamburger meat for burgers. those are husband/crowd pleasers, but not a ton of work.
thursday night we had a turkey tenderloin marinated in teryaki that we got at aldi. it was cheap and fast.
remember it doesn't have to be labor or time intensive to be yummy. with two little freaks under foot, i barely have time to sit down to eat let alone cook complicated meals. :)
I love the crockpot! This morning I threw in some boneless/skinless chix breast with a jar of salsa. Tonight we will have chicken soft tacos. An easy, relatively healthy meal that the kids like too!
I seriously use my crockpot about 2-3x/week!
I second Christy's crockpot 365! I just start looking for new recipes to try....and now that it's warm- we've been grilling more.
We are trying to avoid going out to eat as much....
Cook things in bulk--soups, chili and freeze some portions. I'll put some in ziplocs and if I don't defrost them any before hand, just toss the chuck of frozen chili or soup in a pot and slowly heat it up.
Oh, and tenderloin is a great suggestion since it can be so easy. Just find a marinade recipe that sounds good (and easy to toss together). Then marinate the hunk of meat a few hours, toss it in the oven, and you've got a few meals.
I've become addicted to food network, especially Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals. They're super easy with not a whole lot ingredients or prep time. She made these kaiser rolls calzone that I did that turned out pretty good. You can get her recipes from the food network website.
