the day with Jenna

I love how these photos document our day so perfectly. So here is the story of our day...

We started out with our Thursday playgroup meeting at someone's house. Jenna and this little boy decided they must check out the fireplace together and as you can see, she has crawled all the way up there. (She's in the white onesie, if you couldn't tell.)



And today, I also think she realized she can now open and shut the cabinet doors all by herself. (Yes, we will be baby proofing them soon!) This morning, I put her in the bathroom with me while I dried my hair and she was opening those cabinets and then later on, she must have remembered her new found skills because she came to the kitchen to occupy herself with a little game of open and shut for about 15 minutes.

JM came home early and was itching to go outside and take some photos. So of course we did.

This outfit is now one of my new favorites so I just had to get some pictures of it on her. (I *heart* Gap now.)

And please excuse JM's messy desk - But everyday this week around 7 pm before bathtime, we've been watching Baby Einstein videos. I heard someone refer to them as baby crack yesterday and that is exactly what it is to Jenna. She loves it and doesn't take her eyes off of them. Tonight she just snuggled up to me and watched without moving a muscle. It was so cute.

So that was our day - from start to finish. A very energetic, mischevious, outgoing morning to a calm afternoon, to a super sleepy night-time. And I loved every single second of it.
