just another Saturday out together

Well, we started off our adventure today by trying to get our new Britax Decathalon installed. We (or mostly JM, I should say) couldn't get it figured out correctly, so we had to resort back to putting her in the infant seat. I sat her in the new Britax for just a minute, and I could already tell she looked so much more comfortable and even just seemed so much safer looking. And, isn't it pretty too?


We went to one of my favorite shopping places today. I found some awesome deals at the Gap outlet including a $3 shirt for Jenna that says, "Mom's my stylist" (gotta love that one!), a $5 dress for me, jeans and a couple of tops all for me. And then I also found exactly what I was looking for in Carter's so it was an excellent shopping trip there!

This is the place that has the fountains that Jenna likes to sit on the side and watch. Well, we were sitting there all nice and neat for a few minutes and then out of nowhere the fountains went crazy and we all got wet and her stroller got soaked. It was funny though and and it was fun to watch (after we all ran away and some nice man grabbed my stroller up the steps for me!)

John Michael put her on his shoulders for a little bit and she kept smiling the whole time so of course I had to get a picture!

And I finally settled on her Halloween costume. This is the butterfly with matching pink and purple tights from The Children's Place. I do think it is actually much cuter than this picture shows and the wings on the back are really cute. It almost looks like an alien or bug here, don't you think?

Tomorrow we are looking forward to going to the pumkin patch at the farm!
