Jenna's 1st Halloween!

We went out to our favorite shopping place for their trick or treat night. Jenna wasn't all that into it - it was late and I think she was getting tired. But anyway, here are our pics from tonight! JM went as a doctor (yep, that's right....) and I broke out my old pink wings I've had forever. Someday, I think we will have to get really creative and actually dress up and maybe do a family theme.

And of course, the first picture is just from Halloween last year. :)

Round 2 of the costume

You can't get sick of seeing Jenna in her costume yet - we've still got tomorrow night!! Anyway, Jenna and I went to our Thursday playgroup today and of course, it was halloween themed!

These Halloween balloons were so cute! We even got one to take home and Jenna has loved playing with it.

The group shot. This was really kind of funny because Jenna and Madeline kept staring at each other.

Another staring picture. They were just so cute. I think if they were older, they would be really good friends together.

And Jenna was telling Madeline she needed to wake up!! She kept going over to her carseat over and over, but thankfully she never woke her up!

We're (well mostly JM, and I do mean the older one) is looking forward to tomorrow night!!!

She's happy anywhere!

UGH - one of my headlights went out so I had to go to the VW dealership today and get it fixed. The guy told me it would be at least an hour, maybe more... I immediately thought that Jenna would get cranky waiting here and not doing anything. So, we went in our little waiting room and there wasn't anyone else in there, so I just put some of the magazines on the floor and let her crawl around. (Yes, I know it's probably nasty, but really, what else am I going to do?) She had a blast! She loves looking at books and turning the pages. So, anyone, I shouldn't have even worried about her! And the best part is - it only took 30 minutes!!!

And the last picture is just a cute picture that JM took of Jenna tonight.

And thanks to Nana for the super cute outfit!!! :)

Costumes at Gymboree today!

Today was a fun day at Gymboree! We got to wear our costumes (YAY for getting to wear it 3 times this week!)

We lined up all the babies in a row to try and get a group shot. There were some really cute costumes. One little boy came as a golfer and even had a golf toy - I'm not sure he's in any of these pics, but it was really creative!

And guess who is the first to crawl away?

Can you find Jenna? While all of the other babies are playing on the mats, she always heads toward the table and parachute area. There are actually two different tables in two different spots and she always goes towards both of them. I'm not sure I understand her fascination with them.

Jenna trying to get a bubble off the little boy's head. OH - there is the golfer - the one in the green argyle!

"Does this costume make my butt look big?"

Jenna says, "Happy Halloween Yall!"

Jenna's razorback hat minus the actual Jenna

I've been getting really bad lately about waiting til the last minute to take my photo for the day. There was an AR vs. Ole Miss game today and I was going to put the hat on Jenna (even though it's too big) but it got too late before I was able to. Anyway, her grand-dude got it for a couple of weeks back and I thought it was really cute!
And no, we're really not big sports fans by any means, but of course, if I had to pick, I'd pick the Hogs. And sadly, I think they lost tonight.

An old favorite and a new one...

One of my newest loves - Jenna's hair clippy. I'm going to try and make some, but I'm fairly certain they won't be nearly as cute. (Sigh...)

Also, I love Vera Bradley. JM got this makeup bag for one of my gifts last Christmas and I still love it!

I was asked...

If I was 18. Seriously.

And NO, I do NOT enjoy being asked this. Still....

I was tagged...

I was tagged by Cindi.
7 random facts.... Hmmm...let's see....
1. I pick and tear off my toenails to the point of not having a toenail. And yes, if they are painted, I usually just paint the skin so you can't tell. Totally gross, I know, but I really haven't done it a while.....
2. I don't like ketchup, mustard, mayo mixed together in any form. I think it should only be one of them (on a burger, for ex.) or none at all. And I can't stand regular mustard anyway.
3. I love strawberry (and sometimes chocolate) milk before going to bed.
4. I love thrift stores and the thrill of the search.
5. I love the internet way too much.
6. I don't like squirrels, ducks, or big birds.
7. I like to make lists.
Ok, I'm going to do this a bit differently. I don't want to leave anyone out. So I'm tagging everyone I know. If you want to do it on your blog, feel free. If not, that's cool too. :)

Jenna's BK crown

I don't know why it's so tiny, but I'm tired of messing with it. :(

Baby Proofing!!!

We've had the electrical outlets covered for a while, but we realized it was now time to get more serious with our baby-proofing around here. Excuse the white trash baby diaper look, but that's how she rolls before bedtime most nights. :) So anyway, we now have a gate on the stairs to our basement. (We need another gate for the top of our stairs, but it has a banister, so does anyone have any reccommendations for that?)

And JM also installed cabinet locks. This one is a HUGE deal. She constantly went in the cabinets and it was getting really annoying. Since we are renting, we got the magnet type cabinet locks (so we didn't actually have to drill into the cabinets), and anyway, I can't tell you how many times I've already forgotten and tried to just open them without getting the little magnet key.

And oh my - I wish I had a picture for what I am about to tell yall. I was putting my laundry away in my closet and she was playing in my bathroom and I stuck my head around the corner to check on her and I found her huddled over the toliet. She had dropped a whole roll of toliet paper into it and then was trying to start splashing the water. She loves the water. Ugh, but anyway, it was just one of those moments that I'm sure there are going to be plenty more of with her! :)

Tulsa Trip

We got home today from our trip to Tulsa. It was so much fun to be able to spend time with our friends and seeing all of them definitely makes me miss living there.

Our first stop was to go see Sarah. I'm so sad that I didn't get any pictures of Jenna with Sarah's little puppy, but Sarah got some and they are on her blog. Her little puppy was so cute and Jenna loved her!

We met Cindi and her kids at the mall. I'm so glad they drove over just to see us! We definitely miss them! Jenna had a blast playing at the mall with her "old" friends! Oh, and yes, I took tons of pictures to get a good one of the 3 of them, but this is the best one I got!

We also met up with some of my most favorite kiddos ever. Again, Jenna had so much fun playing with all of their toys in the playroom. It was so nice to go over there and kind of bittersweet realizing I've now watched these kids grow up over an almost 5 year period. They are getting too big!
The next day Jenna started pulling up without any help from anyone/anything and tried standing on her for a few seconds. And also, we had loved hanging out and staying with Whitney!

On, Saturday we went to the zoo.

And when I got back today, JM got a sweet little surprise. He replaced my old dying mums with the pretty yellow ones. (And the pumpkins are on the side to mainly act as weights, because they were flying off the steps!) But anyway, isn't that sweet! I love how thoughtful he is doing things like that.

So yes, we are back now and fully exhausted! Jenna was so good for everyone (despite having such short naps sometimes) and she really had so much fun. It was so cute watching her with everyone!
