Ok, well first off my pictures are out of order, but it's late and I'm not switching them now. Anyway, this is a really random post, but I figured why not...
Sunday- this was Jenna's birthday outfit - on the other side is a cupcake with her name under it and then it reverses to this side. I decided that she needed to get another wear out of it before she outgrows it, which is she rapidly outgrowing all of her other clothes lately. Anyway, I just love the monogram look and I really think she needs some more things before she starts to get too big for it!
Saturday - We became "one of those people with THE screaming baby in a restaurant." You know the type - where the kid throws a huge fit and other childless people are thinking, "if I had a kid, he/she would never act like that." Haha on me - because I'm sure I've thought that a time or 2 pre-Jenna. Well anyway, she just started screaming and throwing food every where. JM had to take her outside because nothing was calming her down. So then I went to get him and suggested she watch baby einstein on the iphone - this is our one magic trick that gets her in a magical quiet daze every single time and I'm dreading the day when this no longer works. Anyway, long story short - she hasn't been feeling well and she is also getting her back molars, so I think a combination of that and being in the car for 4 hours straight yesterday just put her over the top. Anyway, it was an experience and we'll just call it that.
And Friday - I've started trying to get her to using a spoon and bowl instead of just eating off the tray. Since she is my first, I guess I'm not sure when exactly she should be doing this, but I heard other babies were already trying it out, so of course I had too. I honestly didn't think she was ready for it, but she really loves trying to navigate the spoon, so I guess she is.

love the birthday outfit! jenna is precious! sorry about her restaurant meltdown, but what a cool magic calm down trick. have you tried hyland's homeopathic teething tablets for those molars? stuff works wonders!
Adorable little Jenna is allowed to have a meltdown every now and then :) Dining out might be hit or miss the next couple of years, though - which you know after eating with our kids, haha!
SO cute birthday outfit on that gorgeous girl!
I have been "that" mom in the restaurant so many times that I think each place in town has a "Moss Family Section" designated just for us. ;) I love it when there's that one other mom in there that gives you the "Oh, I've so been there" smile. lol Makes it not so stressful!
Oh.. and TV will work for YEARS to come.. possibly forever. The shows will just change.
