JM called me mid-morning today to tell me something was going to be delievered. Guess he knows how much I value Jenna's naptime - so I got out my uber fancy sign I made a couple of weeks back (I had a postman ring the doorbell twice and wake her up, so after that I decided to put a sign when I knew someone was coming.)
So, the sign worked because a little bit later I went out to take the dogs out and this box was on my porch. I've actually never had flowers delivered in a box before, so I was a bit intrigued.
Wow - is all I can say - these people really knew how to secure their flowers in a box. It was hard getting them just out of the box with the vase, but then my scissors couldn't cut through the plastic so I had to wiggle them up and out of there! I definitely had to work to get my flowers!
And aren't they pretty? Tulips are my favorite. I have such a sweet and wonderful husband.
Oh, and in case you are thinking, "but, it's not Valentine's day yet??" - well we are going to LA this weekend, so he wanted to go ahead and do it while we here! :)

Very sweet!! Tulips are my favorite too.
AWWW Allison how sweet he is!!! If you pop some pennies in the vase the metal helps with keeping the tulips fresher longer...and a fresh cut with a knife helps ;-) Enjoy them ...
What a sweetie. (And yes, a sign on the door is a necessity!)
Ohh.. gorgeous!! I love tulips, too.
I laughed my head off at your sign! Great idea!
I've been known to hang a sign up also - whatever it takes, huh?
Beautiful tulips! Bryce used to have mine delivered in a box but he hasn't in a few years...have a great trip!
