We started out this Friday morning by going to our playgroup's Christmas party gift exhange. We tried to get a group picture, and unfortunately it has to be MY kid that won't even try to sit still for it. You would think she would be used to getting her picture taken and know to cooperate, but she definitely likes to do things HER way!
So, this is what all Jenna got. Play-doh, Elmo books, and the nesting blocks. I honestly couldn't think of a better gift for her. She loves the play-doh, she loves Elmo - she calls him Mo-Mo, and I've been wanting to get her those nesting blocks forever! I don't know why I just never got them but I always thought they were so cute. She's had so much fun making the towers all day too!
Later this afternoon, we went to Hobby Lobby so I could let her pick out her own ornament. I want to do this every year and then she'll have her own box of ornaments later on. I was hoping to find something pink in HL to match her pink tree, but I guess I waited way too late. They had already sold out of a ton! (yes, I do realize it's the week before Christmas!) Anyway, she started yelling "Doggy, Doggy!" At first we found a dalmation and we were going to get that one, but then she found this one. And can you guess what she loves about this one? The dog has bows in both of it's ears. She also yelled "Bows!" So, I think this was is perfect for her!
And finally something for me! I got these Reef flip-flops from Piperlime for only $3.23!! On their anniversary, they were giving out $25 off coupons if you bought from them that day, so I got some cute Keds for Jenna and then I found these and I've always wanted to try out Reef, so I'm excited about them! (I don't think they will be taking the place of my beloved yellow box though!)
Tomorrow Jenna is going to her first ever friend's birthday party and then we are going to pick up my aunt from the airport. It's going to be a busy day, but we like busy! Hope you all have a good weekend!

I love the pic of Jenna throwing a fit!! You will laugh one day! I do!! Tyler was always the one throwing a fit. Landon is the child who doesn't look at the camera!! What an awesome deal on the flip flops. And I love the dog with bows ornament. Too cute, she is such a girly girl!
Brinley would sooo steal that ornament from Jenna, lol.
