We had a white Christmas! (Honestly, that really doesn't excite me like it probably does most people!) It has been snowing almost continuosly here since last night. I'm not sure if you can tell by the picture or not, but you can see near the front of my car how deep it's getting. Our roads are completely covered and we even watched a big truck outside our window getting stuck in it today! We didn't get to go to church this morning and, needless to say, we aren't going anywhere! Because of this, we also had my mom just come over and spend the night with us last night so we wouldn't have to worry about it today. I'm so glad we did that!
Anyway, Jenna must have been a very good girl because she got lots of new toys! She absolutely loves her new kitchen set and has been playing with that for the majority of the day! (I can't believe I don't have any pictures of that to show!) I'm so happy that she really does like it though! I also got her a few art things and this color wonder paint set was also a huge hit! I think we will probably be getting more of it!
Last night, my mom, Jenna and I made sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles. (YUM - my favorite!) Today, Jenna and my mom made peanut butter cookies together. Jenna really did help. Yesterday, she decorated with sprinkles and today she put the cookies on the pan and put the fork in them to make the lines. It was really cute. I think we are not going to have to make cookies more often around here.
Anyway, it has been a really nice day! Lots of just laying around also happened! :)
