This is a bit longer than my average post, but yesterday we had such a busy, fun day!
The first thing we did was go to the humane society. They were having their furry fest. At the same time, Paul DeMio from the Extreme home makeover was there and they were also doing lots of filming! I got my picture with him!

And I just put Sophie on this little agility course. I turned around and I had absolutely no idea that we were being filmed. They shot so much stuff though that I am doubtful this little clip will actually make it into the show. But, I was in the background a lot, so if you watch, you may see us there!

They had dog races for small dogs under 15 lbs. I entered Max and he won 3rd place! He won against another dog and then he got to race again and came in 3rd! Sadly, he probably would have won that last race too, but the other dog was a little bit bigger but Max was trying so hard. It was really cute. (I didn't enter Sophie because she never runs AT ALL.)

This is Max with all of his 3rd place loot! He actually got a lot of stuff! In the little bag, was packed with a couple of different chew toys and bones and misc. stuff. Seriously, isn't this such a cute picture?!?

Afterwards, we went and put the doggies up. They were exhausted from their outing. We headed downtown to the Ocktoberfest that was going on. John Michael participated in his first yodeling contest! (Sadly, HE didn't win that day but his little chihuahua did!!) LOL

Jenna got to do lots of fun kid activities. She is pumpkin bowling here. She also got to go on a train ride, get some candy, and jump on a trampoline.

And then after that, we got on the shuttle bus to go watch the Extreme Home Makeover in progress. I think we both decided that the burgundy/green rock house behind us on the corner was our favorite. I really like the rocks on it. That is the house that is the firefighter's and they have 4 boys.

Later on, they did a moment of silence. Everyone stopped working on what they were doing. The fire truck raised a big flag into the air. Everyone gathered around. We could not hear what they were saying/filming.

Here they are filming Michael Moloney.

There is Paige in all the pink. (That white house is going to a lady that had 2 of her children killed by the tornado.)

And if you look really, really, closely, you can see Ty in the blue plaid shirt.

When we got on the bus to go home, we saw this - They are also helping to re-build Cunningham park. (That's the park right across from the hospital.) This playground structure looks so much fun and like something that Jenna would love to go play on! They are also doing a really neat basketball court too that we saw.
Anyway, that's it. That was our long, but really fun day! (And p.s. I think that this Joplin 200th episode of EHM will air on January 20th.)
