I think I've seen this idea for at least the last 2 summers, but just now finally felt that Jenna was old enough to do this!
On our list of things to do this summer:
visit all of the Joplin pools
buy something off the ice cream truck
picnic lunch in the park
attend VBS
get snowcones
play putt putt at night
go to Tulsa's big splash
attend library summer programs
leave coins at a park for other kids to find
get haircut
watch fireworks
visit the drive through zoo
take popsicles to the park
learn to write last name
play with sidewalk chalk (we do this one all the time, but Jenna had to have this one the list!)
send letters to family
have playdates here at home
buy something for the baby from Jenna
Jenna has been so excited about this. She keeps asking, "Is this the day we get to do all the fun things?" Ha. I don't think she really gets the concept of "summer" but I'm excited to start this with her and see if it's something we can continue.

Jenna showed me this today! She said see "What mama and I are doing this summer"!! She was so excited!! Great idea,you are really going to be busy!
