Jenna Marie, you are FIVE today!!

Today is Jenna's 5th birthday!!!  

We've had a busy fun day. She decided she wanted to skip our regular Thursday gymnastics class and do something else today, so we went to the library story time instead.  We never get to go to story time anymore, so I was excited to go!  She told them it was her birthday and they even sang Happy Birthday to her and gave her a birthday sticker.  

After library, we met up with my mom.  Jenna got to pick the lunch place and very, very, surprisingly she picked Panera Bread.  (Fine by me!!)  (I could have sworn she was going to pick Chick Fil A....but I guess she saved that for later.)  So, we went to eat, Hobby Lobby, the cupcake store, and her favorite park to play.  

My mom gave her a few presents:  the tag reader (which so far has been a huge hit!), a squinkies carousel, and a Hungry, hungry, hippos game.  

Later when we got home, I asked her what her favorite part of her birthday was.  Her answer: "Going to the cupcake place."  She chose the "birthday cake" cupcake too. :)

After JM got home, he wanted to take her out for dinner.  So, we let her pick and now can you guess where she wanted?? Yep...Chick Fil A.  

I seriously can't believe I have a 5 year old now!!!  

At 5 years old:

Jenna loves coloring, art stuff, baby dolls, puzzles, and games, and really just about anything.  The only thing so far, I think she isn't really into are barbie dolls.  

Still a picky eater.  However, it doesn't really bother me too much.  

absolutely loves all of her social activities like going to school, dance and gymnastics class, Mom's Connection, and our rare playdates.  She is very social and friendly.  (Wonder where she got that from?!)

She rarely sleeps the full night in her own bed.  Most nights, we read in her bed and she will fall asleep in there. But at some point, she usually wakes up and comes and gets in our bed.  Again, this isn't something that really bothers us too much.  

She is very technological.  (Is that a word?!?)  She can completely navigate the apple tv, navigate around Starfall on the internet, and can re-set the router (haha).  And again,  wonder where that all came from?!!? LOL

I already know that she is going to make the absolute BEST big sister one day.  She already talks about the baby a lot (1x a day at least) and whenever she is around other babies, she always, always tries to make them laugh, loves on them, and gives them plenty of attention!  

Happy 5th Birthday, Jenna Marie! Thank you for making us parents.  5 years ago, I could have never imagined just how much I would love you and just how much you could fully enrich our lives.   It's been such a fun 5 years! We love you so much!  :)
