February already?!?!

Is it already February 7th?? Geez, how did that happen?  

I'm already super excited about February.  We've done a few fun things already and have something really super exciting coming up too.  (yes, I'm using the words super exciting again....because that's just how to describe it!)  :)

John Michael got to meet up with 2 of his old college friends in NWA last Friday night.  The guys are  all doctors now and have been scattered and obviously just haven't had much time for socialization over the past couple of years. It's nice that everyone is just about done now, so maybe he can see them all a bit more.  The guy in the middle is Graeme and the one with the two girls is Kevin.  They all went to eat at a Mexican restaurant together, while I hung out with DeeDee (Kevin's wife) and the girls.  We ended up all coming back together for dessert at Chick Fil A, so JM took a group shot there. :) 

Also, last weekend, attended Ellie's baptism.  (John Michael and his two sisters, and there husbands.) 

Of course, it was a great photo opportunity for JM too.  He got several cute shots of Ellie, and I thought I'd share one of my faves.

*I can't believe Valentine's Day is already next week!  Jenna has to make a Valentine's box for school (just like last year), so we did that today.  I made it incredibly easy and just did the same idea I did for last years.  We painted a cereal box with red paint and I let her put stickers and a couple of pink scrapbooking flowers on it. Yep, it totally looks like she made it all by herself....and you know what? I'm totally fine with that. :)  

*Speaking of Valentine's Day, I've never really cared to celebrate it too much.  However, after reading Happier at Home, I think I'm going to try to do better just for Jenna. She is what really matters.  I won't give too much away right now and hopefully I'll try to blog it next week. 

*I'm 27 weeks today!  (It's seriously going by fast - YAY for that.)  I had my glucose test yesterday and got to listen to that sweet little heartbeat again.  Tomorrow I have an ultrasound apt.  Ultrasounds always make me a bit nervous, but hopefully everything still seems to be going normal and good!  

*Like I mentioned earlier, this month has been packed with things for us.  (Or it seems that way to me.)  We still have 2 more fun events coming up and I can't wait to share those!  It's going to be March before I know it!
