I've really never done anything for lent, but this year I'm going to start the 40 bags in 40 days challenge! I'm so excited about this! I originally read about this on The Larson Lingo blog, but I've also heard of a ton of other people doing this too.

So, here is my starting list. After taking this, I also added the playroom and kitchen. (How could I forget these?!?)
I was so excited to get this started! Jenna was also eager to help, so she gave me one bag of stuff from her playroom! (Don't worry - I went through it all.) I also had 3 bags from our storage room to donate and one bag of trash. That is already 5 bags in just one day! That already just seems crazy and I'm scared to really think of how many bags this will be when its over!
So, hopefully I'll come back and update this more later too. I'm thinking this could be a great thing to do EVERY year! We shall see....

Awesome!! I did this the past two years. Happily, I don't think I can come up with 40 bags this year lol. : ) I am doing 40 days of organizing as part of my "giving up chaos" for Lent challenge. I'm excited to see your progress! : )
I have done this for a couple of years too and it is so freeing and addicting!!This year I am purging while I pack and I'm so excited to see so many dish-pack sized boxes brimming with stuff to get rid of sitting in our garage ready to go to Goodwill!!! I hope you do update us and let us see all that you accomplished!! You sure have a cute helper!!
