As I mentioned earlier, we recently took a trip to Maryland. We were there from October 1-6 for John Michael's annual assembly of pm&r medicine. It was held at the Gaylord convention center & hotel in National Harbor, MD.
A picture of the inside of our hotel from our balcony. The Gaylord is a really pretty place. We actually went to the one in Texas for our first anniversary, so it was really neat being able to go back and to a different location.
I love this pic of my 3 loves.
So, as you can probably guess, National Harbor is on the water. The area we stayed in was really nice. It was a couple of blocks of shopping and restaurants with this water view. There was even a little sand pit area that Jenna liked to play in. (If you feel like googling National Harbor and looking at the images, there are lots more detailed pictures of the overview of the city.)
Outside of a restaurant and Jenna being Jenna. :)
And well....another one of Jenna being Jenna. ha. This was inside the Annapolis mall. I got to shop inside an actual Hanna Andersson store. That was the highlight of the mall for me! :)
A family pic of us at the Baltimore aquarium. We saw lots of fish and dolphins!! Jenna and I both love the dolphin shows.
I love this one of Jenna and the jellyfish umbrella!
And what was the absolute best part of the trip for me????
Getting to see Cindy and her family!!! She has the cutest little boy Carter that is just about 18 months and it was the first time that I got to meet him. He was so sweet and Jenna just loved him.
I got to see her several of the days we were there. One night, she cooked dinner for us and
while JM was busy one day, I met up with Cindy and her mom and we took the kids to a park. And on Friday night, her mom kept all 3 kiddos and we all went to The Melting Pot.
Cindy and Jilli. :)
Also, on Saturday, JM did the Kelby photo walk again. He's been doing it every year for several years now. But this year, he got to do it in Alexandria, VA!! How awesome is that?!? Alexandria is a very charming town to me. I really loved the look of the houses and the outside areas. I'm sure the houses are small and probably very expensive, but I loved them! I dropped JM off for the photowalk and the girls and I found a really nice shopping area too. (Of course, I can find the shopping areas. ;) ha.
Anyway, we all had a great trip! :)
